A `ready-to-plug-in' reader for contactless smart cards, the MIFARE® Serial Reader (Short Range) SV-MSR361 is ideal for use in small devices, such as a handheld device or in slot or surface readers, such as ATMs and vending machines. It is a fully functional read/write module that is controlled via a signal interface, and is equipped with an integrated antenna that allows it to operate at a distance of 5 cm. Based on the MIFARE® Micro module, the reader combines all the basic functions for accessing the MIFARE® standard contactless card.
